I'm Dr Keith Auerbach and have been practicing in the psychology field since 1995 helping people function better with themselves and in their relationships while increasing their sense of peace and calm. My therapy practice is results oriented, utilizing well-researched treatment modalities along with time-tested traditions. I encourage you to be results oriented as well during your therapy process and life in general.

At the heart of our problems is the self induced suffering we add. Usually this is in the form of our monologue (our conversation with ourselves) as well as heightened stress which both can derail our ability in real-time to be calm and thus think clearer. Learning skills to calm ourselves during heightened emotions is imperative to improved moods, relationships and other problems.

My learning, practicing, and teaching both Eastern and Western approaches to health and peak performance led to my creating the term zenpsych...the integration of Western psychology with Eastern contemplative practices often referred to as mindfulness practices, or essentially, what is called Zen.
